Now you know, and I know, and everybody else knows that when skincare guru Caroline Hirons says to buy something, you buy it. Especially when they are reasonably priced. I tried to resist, I really did. "It's all hype, it'll die down," I told myself. But then the strangest thing happened: it didn't die down. So here I am, a trip to Shopper's Drugmart and $20 later, bringing you my own views on the famous Hydraluron.
If you are one of the few who hasn't heard of Indeed Labs Hydraluron yet, I'll give you the low down. Basically Hydraluron contains hyaluronic acid which is naturally found in our skin to help us maintain the moisture in it. Hydraluron is said to be capable of absorbing x1000 times its weight in water. What does that mean for us? Lovely hydrated skin that stays that way for much longer.
Hydraluron has a serum-like consistency and is used pre-moisturizer. I like to use mine both morning and night, and only the teeniest amount is necessary. Like tiny. Like half a pea sized amount. After using it, I found that I had to use so much less of my moisturizer and still got better effects from it.
Results? Absolutely a great buy. Really hydrated skin and I don't have to reapply moisturizer for the rest of the day! Now do I think this is a life changing product for someone like me who is 21 and already has fairly good skin? No. But do I definitely see a difference and will I be repurchasing it? You betcha.
