Concealer Round Up
I used to have good skin. No, scratch that. I used to have great skin. Glowing skin, not a scar in sight, and under eye circles? What under eye circles? I had none! Alas, my dark circles and hyper pigmentation are in full effect. I don't have bad skin now but it definitely needs a little oomph to get it looking great. I need a little help and I think I have just the crop of concealers to do the job.
MAC Select Cover-Up Concealer
This concealer is super light-weight with an immense amount of coverage. In fact the amount of coverage you get from it is almost astonishing given how thin and light it feels. I consider it to be a great 'does it all' concealer. You can use it under your eyes, on blemishes, or (my personal favourite) on hyper pigmentation around your face. It's just overall very easy to work with and was actually the first concealer I ever bought.
NYX Above and Beyond Full Concealer
This concealer is great in a pinch. If you're running out the door or need to throw something in your bag for later, this is the one. It's pretty thick in consistency which makes it fairly mess-free and user friendly. Because it's so thick it's fantastic at covering up blemishes, no mater how angry they may appear.
MAC Pro Longwear Concealer
This is the under eye concealer to end all under eye concealers. It doesn't crease ever. I don't know what kind of voodoo magic is in this concealer but it is perfection. It's also lightweight and lasts forever. You could put this on at 7AM and look at yourself at 10pm and still look flawless. When they say long wearing, they weren't messing around.
Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer
This concealer is amazing everywhere. Seriously. Just pour the whole tube on your face. Okay, maybe not the whole tube, but you get what I mean. I love this concealer. Hands down the best in the bunch. When I don't feel like wearing foundation, I just dot this where I need it. And no one is any the wiser. It looks like I am wearing nothing at all and like I just have naturally perfect skin.
And the skin of my youth has magically returns. Ahh, the wonders of makeup.
